Billing, Plans & Account

Summary: How Jinnify trial credits, subscriptions, credit packs, upgrades, and the Stripe billing portal work. Always treat Settings → Subscription & Usage as the source of truth for your plan and balance.

Where billing lives

  1. Account menu → Settings (/profile; /settings redirects here).

  2. Open Subscription & Usage.

From here you can see trial vs Pro status, available credits, upgrade, and (when subscribed) Manage Billing & Invoices (Stripe customer portal).

Prices, plan names, and period credit refills are loaded from Stripe. Do not rely on outdated screenshots for dollar amounts — open the in-app plan picker.

Credits (how usage works)

Jinnify AI work spends credits. Spend is token-metered from real model usage, not a flat per-click price. Listing workflows (Optimize, New listing, Bulk optimize) carry a workflow multiplier, so they cost more than chat.

Rough guides (actual debits depend on the run):

  • Optimize: about 80 credits per listing

  • Bulk optimize: about 80 credits per listing in the batch

  • New listing: about 130 credits per run

  • Chat: varies by turn length (typically tens of credits; no workflow multiplier)

Larger or heavier runs can cost more. Bulk optimize debits each listing as the batch runs; if credits run out mid-batch, remaining items are skipped. Your live balance in Settings is the source of truth.

Trial credits

While on a free trial the app explains:

  • 1,000 free Jinnify credits when you start

  • +5,000 credits when you connect a real Amazon store

When you hit zero credits, workflows that need AI open a paywall. If you are still on trial without a real store, Jinnify may pitch connect store first (fastest free top-up), with a path to view plans.

Subscribed credits

Paid plans include a period credit refill (shown on the plan card and after subscribe). When you run low, subscribers can buy one-time credit packs from the billing modal.

The credits chip in the app opens manage / top-up flows.

Other plan tiers (if offered in the picker, for example a higher business tier) appear in the same checkout UI. Your current plan card is marked when you already subscribe.

How to upgrade

  1. Settings → Subscription & Usage.

  2. Click Upgrade to Pro Now (trial) or open plans from the paywall / credits chip.

  3. Review monthly vs yearly (yearly toggle when shown) and credit allowance on each card.

  4. Complete Stripe checkout.

  5. Return to Jinnify; confirm plan badge and next billing date.

If status does not update immediately, refresh Settings and wait a minute for payment confirmation.

Manage billing, invoices, payment method, cancel

For active subscribers:

  1. Settings → Subscription & Usage.

  2. Click Manage Billing & Invoices.

  3. Stripe Customer Portal opens for payment method, invoices, and cancellation flows supported for your subscription.

Cancel

  • Cancel in the Stripe portal (or via support if portal access fails).

  • Cancellation typically stops future renewal. You often keep access until period end (Access Ends date in Settings when cancel is scheduled).

  • Canceling does not delete your Jinnify account or automatically wipe connected data.

Credit packs

Subscribers who burn through the period allowance can purchase one-time credit packs from the billing modal (packs are Stripe products of type refill). Trial users are guided to connect or subscribe rather than packs-first, depending on paywall context.

Invoices and payment questions

Prepare:

  • Billing email

  • Approximate charge date

  • Last four digits of the payment method if relevant

  • Invoice number if available

  • Screenshot of the issue

Common cases:

  • Charged but plan did not update

  • Canceled but still have access until period end (often expected)

  • Need invoice PDF for accounting

  • Wrong email or company details on the receipt

Team access and ownership

If multiple people use the same seller data:

  • Keep billing on a stable company email

  • Document who may authorize Amazon connections vs who manages the subscription

  • For ownership or email changes, contact support with old and new emails rather than informal handoffs

Self-serve multi-seat team admin (if not shown in your Settings) may be limited — use support for access transfers.

Account vs subscription

Goal

Action

Stop paying

Cancel subscription (portal)

Delete account / data

See Policies, Security & Data; contact support if no self-serve delete

What success looks like

  • Settings shows the correct trial or plan badge

  • Credit balance matches recent usage

  • Next billing or access-end date is visible when subscribed

  • Portal opens for invoices when you are Pro
